Telangana Social Welfare Residential
Education Institution Society (TSWREIS) residential schools and Colleges were established
in 1984 in the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh to give quality education to
all students of underprivileged Scheduled Castes. The TSWREIS due to its
invincible position in global public residential education map, continues to
attract educators from different parts of the country and the world every year.
TSWREIS introduced multiple programs to liberate the marginalized children from
all forms of poverty, despondency, inferiority complex and eventually placing
them in the orbit of higher education and self-respect by operating with 268
residential educational institutions (catering to 5th standard
students to the UG level) in the Telangana State under the Ministry of
Scheduled Caste (SC) Development, Government of Telangana. This Society works
for a noble aim of providing quality education to the needy, underprivileged
and deprived children on par with other advantaged children, and caters to the
dire educational needs of the marginalized children especially the Scheduled
Caste (SC) children hailing from the remote rural areas of the Telangana State.
Over the last three decades the Society witnessed a path of glory, and the
depth of reflection is excelling in academics, sports, mountaineering,
communication skills, etc., apart from providing quality education, it is
making determined efforts to create an environment that builds confidence
levels, leadership hikes and communication skills to meet current challenges of
21st century.
